Meet The Founders

Behind The Atelier

Helen Rutledge Founder

I built Rutledge Atelier for those who believe beauty still matters—for designers who see meaning in every detail, and for the makers who bring it to life. It’s a space where craftsmanship and design meet at every scale—from one-of-a-kind commissions to full-scale developments that still feel personal and handmade.

Scale shouldn’t require sacrifice—true craftsmanship can be both cost-effective and breathtakingly beautiful.

With a career spanning design, storytelling, and entrepreneurship, Helen Rutledge brings both poetic vision and pragmatic artistry to every collaboration the Atelier undertakes. Her goal: to make craftsmanship visible again—in public spaces, hospitality environments, and homes that honor the hand behind the work.
