When Sarah and Andrew Wetenhall — the owners behind The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach — acquired one of East Hampton's most cherished landmarks, they enlisted designer David Netto to lead the restoration. Rutledge Atelier was brought in to fabricate key pieces throughout the property.

Custom beds, sofas, lounge chairs, restaurant banquettes and dining tables, an upholstered bar, pillows and bedskirts — handbuilt to the standard a National Historic Register inn demands.
