Rutledge Atelier is a boutique procurement and fabrication firm for interior designers and hospitality professionals who refuse to compromise. We represent a curated guild of master makers — furniture builders, upholsterers, rug weavers, lighting designers, and artists — and we manage every project from first conversation to final installation. One contact. One timeline. One contract.

And here's the part that surprises people: working with us doesn't cost more. Our compensation is built into our makers' pricing, which means you receive trade-equivalent pricing with no added markup. Ever. The cost of the piece is simply the cost of the piece.

When Sarah and Andrew Wetenhall — the owners behind The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach — acquired one of East Hampton's most cherished landmarks, they enlisted designer David Netto to lead the restoration. Rutledge Atelier was brought in to fabricate key pieces throughout the property.

Custom beds, sofas, lounge chairs, restaurant banquettes and dining tables, an upholstered bar, pillows and bedskirts — handbuilt to the standard a National Historic Register inn demands.

Anyone can source furniture. Very few can complete a room. We work with original artists to bring paintings, sculpture, ceramics, and site-specific installations to hospitality and residential projects — pieces that give a space its story and its memory.
