As a trade-only platform, we honor the same designer pricing you’d receive directly from each artisan—no markup, no detour. If a piece is on sale with the maker, it’s on sale with us. We’re simply here to streamline the experience: one point of contact, one place to shop, and a team who supports you every step of the way.

We can be engaged in several ways:

As a full-service procurement partner working directly with the design team

As a specialty partner supporting an existing procurement firm

As a targeted resource brought in mid-project for custom categories

As a long-term partner across multiple properties or rollouts

We are intentionally flexible and plug-and-play. Some teams lean on us for everything from seating to lighting to drapery to rugs and art. Others bring us in for the pieces that need the most care, engineering, or custom attention.

THE PROCESS

  • 1. Scope & Vision

    Share your drawings, inspiration, or brief. We translate design intent into pieces that can actually be built, scaled, and delivered.

  • One Unified Proposal

    We engage the right makers and return a single proposal — specifications, material options, lead times, and pricing. No fragmented vendor threads, no scattered pricing.

  • 3. Approval & Deposit

    Once selections are finalized we issue a consolidated contract and scope of work. A 70% deposit initiates production with the balance due prior to delivery. Payment is made to Rutledge Atelier — we manage distribution to each maker and oversee all production scheduling.

  • 4. Design Development & Prototyping

    As needed we coordinate CAD drawings, finish and material samples, upholstery mockups, and full-scale prototypes for seating, banquettes, beds, and lighting. We track every revision and translate feedback into clear production action.

  • 5. Production & Project Management

    Through our project management system we track maker timelines, sample approvals, fabric and material arrivals, revision notes, site visits, and installation sequencing. You see one organized transparent workflow instead of a dozen parallel threads.

  • 6. Delivery & Installation

    We coordinate: White-glove delivery or receiving warehouse logistics; Maker-supervised installation for complex pieces; phased rollouts for multi-floor or multi-property projects; shipping is billed separately.
